      Irene von Hennigs, PharmD is a Medical Affairs expert for the Biopharmaceutical industry. She delivers innovative and strategic scientific solutions that provide fair and balanced medical information to Opinion Leaders. Throughout the years, Dr. von Hennigs focused on how to showcase the value of Medical Affairs through qualitative and quantitative metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). 


 In 2020 Irene's passion for Medical Affairs led her to found BridgeScience Inc., a Medical Affairs consulting firm. Previously she served in leadership roles including Executive Director and Therapeutic Area Medical Lead for Rare Disease, Complement Science within Hematology & Nephrology at Alexion Pharmaceutical. 


 Before joining Alexion, Irene held a medical affairs leadership role for AbbVie and its predecessor companies. There she led and grew a team of medical scientists who serviced as field medical liaisons. 


Irene's passion for Medical Affairs and the medical team drove the decision to found BridgeScience Inc. which partners with leaders across the Biopharmaceutical industry and helps them achieve their goals and deliver value while focusing on employee satisfaction and a culture that allows each member to thrive and succeed. 


 Irene resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and holds a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Mercer University, Bachelors of Arts and Science from Notre Dame de Namur University and completed her clinical Pharmacy Practice Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
